Another day that started with a messy room and a full English breakfast.
A much nicer cycling experience today, rolling through the Gloucestershire National cycle path 45 and meeting cows.
At one stage I rode at 20mph down a long hill for a very long time. Briefly I was even doing 21.8mph so I would have been breaking the speed limit in Ealing!
Tonight we are staying in Upton upon Severn which is the smallest town in Worcestershire. It is situated on the river Severn which is the longest river in the UK (220 miles long). It’s called Afon Hafren in Welsh but we won’t be crossing over to Wales on this trip.
Adrian, our Scouts Leader said that we’ve had a new donation from 2 scouting families in Thurrock, Essex. They also included this lovely message:
I'm so impressed with your mileage today Jonathan. Brilliant! Keep peddling 🚴
