Today we took a photo by the Lands’ End sign, waiting for 56 minutes for our turn.
Then we rode to St Ives where we’re staying here overnight.
There was LOTS of hills, it felt like 120 miles not 20. I want to move to Denmark to live on flat ground. It was a lovely experience though, we stopped for lunch at St Michael’s Mount which is a tidal island in Cornwall. I loved being out in the open with all the nature around me.
and then we cycled on to St Ives, taking some detours along the way. Today we’re staying in a hotel. Last night was a tent in YHA grounds and the view first thing in the morning was amazing
In the evening, we had an interview with BBC radio for their Make a Difference segment. I was a bit tired so Dad did most of the talking. He said it was a nice change, apparently I talk a lot. Not with everyone, just the people I know well.
I’m having a great time, not missing London at all. Missing Stavros a little bit. He’s my dog and can be quite naughty as he’s really spoilt and mum loves him. Looks like you had some nice weather to start your journey 😎. Hills aren't so bad; you always get to coast down the other side. Good job you aren't cycling to New Zealand!
